Sage is a French - German - Indian - Non Vegan – Scorpio and Native of
San Antonio. She prefers piano & guitar music without lyrics, as they
provide a smooth backdrop for her creativity.
She has earned a BFA from UT, with a major in Art in Design, and minor in
Architectural Engineering. She reads Sci-Fi, is a Late Night Artist & rarely
has time to practice for her Fri afternoon Flamenco guitar lesson.
Her Gallery pieces consist of archival acrylics layered on textural
archival surfaces that are sealed with a super duper high gloss finish. The
result is pure Eye Candy, and depth you have to see to believe.
You will also find a refreshing lack of respect for the academic straight
jacket of perspective and form.
Recent works…Texas Twangs embody large Texas Icons. Such as the 6 ft
Monarch Butterfly, 6 ft tall Longnecks, and of course the most famous
Longhorn of all! Her red, white , and blue star triptychs “ Texas Trios “
have become a favorite to complement her unique Flags.
True Texan & True American Flags are also larger than life. But don’t
Fret… minis are available too. All kinds of Flags are treated to a special
vibrant layering technique she developed. You can commission ANY size you
gotta have. She creates custom sized works for corporate collections and
your home.
